I was going through TSA at MCO last week. I had incident I can’t stop thinking about.

Passenger [Question/Post]

I have TSA precheck and had a domestic departure. I was waiting in the TSA line after the ID check.

I am a petite, blonde woman in my 30s. I was wearing Lululemon leggings and a oversized Lululemon sweatshirt. I had nothing in my pockets and nothing on me except my ID. TSA waves me through the metal detector, I then set off the metal detector and honestly not sure why. The TSA asks me what is in my pockets and I just point to the small outside pocket on my leggings and say my ID. He then shrugs his shoulders and waves me through. I ask if I need to take off my sweatshirt shirt and go back through and he says no and just waves me on and tell me to keep moving and grab my bag.

I probably did not look like a threat but I can’t stop things that he waved me on without any idea why the metal sector went off. Didn’t ask any more questions, or search me. He just asked like it didn’t happen.

I’m extra cautious with safety and security measures and take them seriously. I still can’t figure out why they just let me through with no questions asked. I made me nervous this was happening more often.
