There's a particular feeling that arises when you meet someone who just perfectly understands you. At first, there's a clear reflection staring back at you like the surface of a pool. You get that surge of excitement that you may have met someone worth investing time into. But then the surface tension breaks and the image cracks into fractals, and you see that each shimmering drop contains new and equally accurate portraits. Some you'd never seen before. Some containing aspects of yourself you'd never considered. The initial excitement turns into passionate interest as you wonder to yourself how many new fractals you'll need to sort through to find one discordant. Could it stretch to infinity? Is there such a thing as perfect chemistry?

I don't know. But I do know I crave that feeling of passion. I want a girl who's worth knowing everything about. That's information I can use to shape the world around her. To contain her. To guide her. To lead her to safety and comfort and the plugging up of that hole buried deep in her soul, the one that shattered many years ago and led her into this life.

# I'm A:

* 33/M
* Tall
* White
* Burly
* Handsome if I'm your type
* Green eyes
* Wavy Hair

I'm a writer and overall creative and thoughtful person. I enjoy philosophy, theology, music, film, politics, and the occasional vidya (especially with cute girls). I am a Christian, but you don't need to be as long as you're not cringe about it. I'm easy to talk to, have extensive knowledge of many subjects, have lots of friends and community, and I'm not interested in forcing anything that doesn't belong.

# Hopefully you're:

* Soulful. Intellectual but interested in branching out. In love with new ideas and productive debates and drawn to the mystical nature of our reality. Maybe you study philosophy in your free time. Maybe you just like to read old books. Maybe you just sit in your room getting high and putting the world together in your head before it all falls apart again. At any rate you're curious and you're looking for a man who can teach you, lead you, and put words to all of those wispy strange thoughts in your head that you can't quite articulate.
* Younger than me and within driving distance of the western suburbs.
* Looking for a long slow burn that nonetheless doesn't stall out at the pen-pals-who-call-at-night-stage.
* Willing to exchange photos pretty early on.

If you've read this far I hope you feel like I've already tapped into part of your soul. That was the muse singing to me. Now let me hear you. Tell me what's been on your mind lately. What's been giving you anxiety, or making you excited for the future?
