**Baci** 💛

Last April, we helped rescue Baci from Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines. He was a stray puppy suffering from severe mange. When another animal advocate reached out for help to get him rescued, I saw his photo and immediately wanted to help. At the time, I did not even realize he was just a puppy.

**Baci is no longer a stray.** Part of my non-profit’s mission is finding them safe homes 🥰. He is staying at Animal Rescue Cavite PH, where Isabella is also being cared for the rescued dog with the hole in her eye/cheek area whose care we also sponsor.

Yesterday, during my wedding, I received a message from the shelter owner that Baci had become very pale, but no veterinary clinic was open at the time. I was extremely stressed because I have such a soft spot for puppies and care deeply about Baci.

So today, the day after my wedding, Ms. Sallena helped arrange a pet transport rider to bring Baci to the veterinarian. We learned that he had hookworms and was severely anemic. **He has since been dewormed, received his vaccinations, and was given injectable medication for his mange.**

**Baci is one of the rescued animals we are committed to supporting for life, as long as we have the funds to do so.**

**MatMat** 🐾

I honestly thought I would get a little break during my wedding, but even the day before the ceremony, we had to sponsor MatMat's follow-up checkup and bandage change.

Please pray for us—that we can continue helping animals in the Philippines and that I may have the strength, energy, and good health to keep going. I also live with fibromyalgia and am in pain every day, but this advocacy is stronger than my pain. 💪🐾
