FINALE SPOILERS AHEAD what is behind *that* door (my theory)

In the finale during Jax's abstraction, we see his mind and see quite a few doors, one of them is locked up tighter than fort knox and we never get an explanation for it in the finale itself.

I but I think I know what is behind there.

The common theory/semi-canon? belief that Jax is transfemme (LOOOOADS of supporting evidence) makes me think that the thing behind that door is Jax's transness. The things behind the doors are hypotheticals or abstract things that represent different thoughts and feelings Jax has. That means there could totally be some abstract interpretation of Jax's transgender identity behind that door.

In real life, I am a closeted trans girl (I'm out on the interwebs), and when I saw that door in the theater I immediately thought it represented Jax's real identity. Due to the parallels it had to my own gender realization journey.

I am a little disappointed about the way Jax's abstraction was handled, and if they cut Jax's reaction to the abstractions of the other characters and replaced it with us realizing the reason Jax abstracted was because of his inability to accept himself for who he truly is.

I feel like that would have better exemplified Jax's purpose as a cautionary tale about the consequences of forcing yourself to be something you aren't much better.
