I read barley half of this book in middle school, I can’t find it anywhere

There’s a book I read in middle school that I really enjoyed but I wasn’t able to finish it due to unforeseen events (Covid) and I don’t remember the name or a lot of details. All I remember is the main character is a girl in high school (year? I don’t remember) she’s starting a new school year and I remember her being excited about it cause she explained to her friend on the bus that she got a new wardrobe from a magazine. I’m pretty sure she only lived with her dad?? I might be wrong tho. But I do know there’s a scene where she tries killing herself in the bathroom but it didn’t work. Again, this was only in the first part of the book. I didn’t even get to half of it ;(
