Can 1 sin become multiple sins or 1 really long sin?
First context Im a veteran who got out 18 months ago. (Im also new to this whole Christian thing). Whenever I filed my VA disability claim I exaggerated a little bit (so I guess technically lying). I wasn't making up claims of disabilities that I didn't have. I described my pain (sciatic nerve from a bulging disc) as if it was my worst day and not a typical day to day. It only aggravated me about once a week but I didn't include that in my description. Now fast forward to present day, I had been going to PT and its gotten a whole lot better. It hasnt bothered me in like 6 months.
So would that be 1 sin from the exaggeration? One long sin because I get a paycheck from it every month? Or multiple sins because I get a paycheck every month? Would it be a sin to not go to the VA and say that it is much better so they should reduce my disability rating and then pay back what I received?
FYI the sciatic nerve isn't the only thing I claimed. I also have heartburn, meniscus tears in both my knees, tinnitus and the bulging disc.
