Scent discrepancy?

For those of you who buy mists and body cream: Do you usually get both and find they smell identical? Do you smell them both in store first? Blind buy? Curious to see which scents you love in one form and find its counterpart off putting. Several times I have tested Covered in Roses cream but there’s something that doesn’t match the mist. So I use the Aromatherapy rose vanilla cream with CIR mist. I love Always Fleur but I feel like the cream smells more soapy than the mist? I can’t stand the cream on my skin but love the mist.

I’ve now looked at the word ‘mist’ too long that it looks funny.

I’m picking up Imperfect Beauty this sale but I was only able to test the mist in store the other day (hectic with my babies). Hoping the cream matches pretty well!
