32M [M4F] #UK (South Yorkshire) Otaku looking for something real

I'll get straight to the point, this isn't my first post, after what I would call "limited" success. I've put these posts out before, but I normally get people who reply once or are trying to use me for some sort of romance scam. If you don't live close or aren't taking this under serious consideration, please save us both some time and me some upset by leaving it alone.

For those with serious interest, I'm a 32 year old, 6 foot 4 male from South Yorkshire with blond hair, blue eyes and a large side helping of ADHD. I game on PC (though no judgement to other platforms), i'm a fan of anime and i'm an engineer by trade (which also happens to be my passion). I love driving, 3D printing nerdy stuff and spending time with people. I'd also like to take roadtrips to check out scenic places, but it's pretty awkward to go alone.

Ideally, I'd like to find a female partner who's a similar age, is pretty close locationwise, also has nerdy interests or also works/has studied as an engineer. Communication is a big green flag for me, and I'm open to texting, voice notes or phone calls. Trust and patience are also important to me as I tend to have trouble picking up on subtleties, and can take a little while to soften up around new people (despite enjoying hugs and stuff, I typically refrain from/flinch at physical contact, so it has been misinterpreted as lack of interest or open disdain before.) I'm not seeking a perfect partner, especially with my flaws, just someone willing to look past them and working with me on building something genuine.
