Canvas update on my CC, Here are the issues I'm facing.
Note - Didn't do a multicolor test yet as I haven't mounted the Filament Hub and the Canvas unit, have to do few ASA prints in coming days. Besides that everything else has been upgraded.
Updated the FW to 1.4.46
Here are the few issues I'm dealing with-
- The heartbreak fan(the small fan beside nozzle) runs super loud / high rpms always. (video shows just one heartbreak running)
\--Can someone who also has canvas installed on CC please confirm if this is happening with you as well. Basically the heartbreak fan used to be quietest among all others prior to ugrade. Now it just makes loud high frequency noise while running.
- Everytime I home the toolhead(not leveling), the nozzle heats up to 140°. I don't know if this is happening on this version specifically or used to happen with earlier versions too, I was on 1.1.25 and it didn't happen then.
( this is really irritating as it turns on the heartbreak fan noise issue again)
- I did a test PLA print, during start of print the toolhead does weird movements and nozzle temperature gets set to 0° for 10-15 seconds and then to actual 220°
I'm pretty sure something is definitely half baked, not sure if it's the new firmware or the elegoo slicer. toolhead moves back and forth near poop chute during the bed leveling
- since I have not installed the filament Hub yet. There's no way to know if filament sensor is working.
\--Can I still use the old runout sensor after upgrading the canvas ?
