I’m having the exact same problem with two different beats x sets. Please help

I recently purchased a new beats X from Amazon that refurbished a week ago. Anyway I ran into a problem I’ve never had before. When I turned my beats off they would continue playing even though the light turned off. I checked on my mother’s iPad a few days later and same with her iPad.

So I sent in for a replacement. SAME ISSUE. I HAVE FACTORY RESET the buds and have hard reset my iPad. Done everything I can think and the buds keep playing even when the lights turned off. Any idea? It’s kinda hard to imagine both sets having the same weird issue
