Why is "late blooming" mostly associated with being a lesbian rather than bisexual?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been wondering why "late blooming" is so heavily tied to realizing you're a lesbian, while we don't really see a distinct "Late Blooming Bisexuals" community.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this:

Do you think people generally realize or accept their bisexuality earlier in life?
Does the "late bloomer" experience naturally align more with realizing you are exclusively attracted to the same sex?

Is it because compulsory heterosexuality (comphet) functions differently if someone actually experiences attraction to men, making the realization process smoother, whereas realizing you're a lesbian requires a complete shift in identity?
Would love to hear your perspectives and experiences!
