Do i run away

I'm 18 and graduating high school soon. I live with my dad, stepmom, siblings, and grandmother. My family is extremely controlling. I've rarely been allowed to see friends, go out, or have normal independence. Most of my life has been school, home, chores, and helping raise my younger siblings.My dad has thrown things at me before and has left bruises from pinching me. Recently, my family found out I lied about where I was after prom. I was at a supervised all-girls gathering with no alcohol or boys involved. Now I'm worried they'll take my phone, stop me from working, and restrict me even more. I'm starting my first job and leaving for college this summer. I have my own debit card, know my Social Security number, and have about $52, but no ID or passport. I may have a friend's family willing to let me stay temporarily.Would it be smarter to stay and deal with the consequences, or leave and start becoming independent? Any advice is appreciated.
