Looking for Sennheiser HD650, but concerned they will be too sharp?

So, I'm currently having Phillips Shp 9500. I love them, but the only and the most annoying problem is their sharpness at 6-8k. I tried to tame it with EQ over the course of months, but it helps very little.

So-o... I heard that HD6 series has a "clear" sound, and 650's are "warmer than 600", but I still about how much they're better in the terms of sharpness of sound.

I'm looking for a headphones which will be "fun" to listen to, non-tiring in sound (like, not giving headaches), but still have good quality if this sound to listen to vocal/instrumental, and purely instrumental.
