Any professionals here change their jobs to become financial advisors?

Hi there, so I am a marcomms professional, been at it for almost 10 years. Anyone who has worked in our industry knows the hours are long. So while I have been applying for roles within marcomms I clicked the option for recruiters to also reach to me for other roles and most of these roles are financial advisor roles at any one of the big insurance companies here.

Now my question is anyone here chose to become an FA mid career like in their 40s. What has it been like?
