Wyck and the boat

Ok so thoughts: When Wyck >!came up from the ocean after being knocked off the boat!< he def acted a little odd, could have just been odd writing tho, didnʻt seem prominent enough to be anything serious… Then in next episode >!he takes the photo to Gerri but is interrupted from what he was going to tell her.!< At first it seems he was just ready to tell his story about how Mark died (could totally still be it) BUT…

>!Maybe he saw Markʻs ghost when he went in? Maybe Mark was not angry and saved him, thats why Wyck seemed so odd/relieved/almost joyful coming back on the boat.!<

So maybe thats what he was going to tell Gerri, not just about Marks death but also what happened that night.

Not a story-changing theory I know, but just a little maybe feel-good bit to come out if the madness?
