Indigenous witch with sunset eyes?

Three ?connected? stories or novellas about witches in different eras of American history. One involved Salem. One may have been frontier/Western. One involved a Native American woman described as having "sunset eyes" who was captive among people who didn't speak her language. A snake was magically controlled by a witch. Possibly a family bloodline connecting the women. Read around 2005–2011. Red paperback cover, possibly titled Witch Hunt.

I have been looking for this book for years but I can't find any evidence that it exists. It was a book I borrowed at one point and remember it being a great book. I can't remember if the timelines were interconnected and changed chapter to chapter or if each timeline was its own story and it's killing me!
