Anything similar to C.AI that has less of an environmental impact?

I did not realize just how bad C.AI was environmentally, and with that knowledge I simply cannot use it anymore without feeling the worst guilt. (I am an environmentalist) I have not used C.AI for very long, I had only recently heard of it, made a chat with my D&D characters.

Is there anything similar to C.AI? It does not have to be an ai website, as I’ve had literature RP with people before— I just lack an RP partner. If it is an ai website, I’d prefer it to have MINIMAL environmental impact.

I’ve heard of GreenGP, but it is simply an ai tool similar to ChatGPT— not good for RP because it is highly monitored (not looking for “adult” stuff, but this particular bot is very sensitive to the slightest of controversial topics.)
