Is it time to upgrade
I have the Garmin 6s. When I first got it years ago it had battery life lasting 3 weeks. Nowadays its slightly less than 3 days. Compared to other smartwatches 3 days is a dream, right? I'll be honest, i don't use any features except alarms, contact less pay and notifications. What drew me to the fenix in the first place was the long battery life. Im pretty irresponsible at charging even my phone. Im curious is if all I needed was the criteria:
- Rugged - work in a place i bang my watch often. Cracked the fenix but still works.
- Battery life more than a week. I cant stand always needing to charge something.
- contact less pay - not always with my dead phone or wallet.
- cant see with my old eyes. I might have to get bigger than 42mm. My eyes are getting there especially when im tired. At the moment I have the numbers really big.
- able to set up 6 alarms, and get notifications from phone.
All of these tick for the fenix, however im curious to see if theres another especially since I dont really use any of the features. Would any of you recommend the other models like the instinct, forerunner, venu, or endure? Should I wait for the 9?
