Why does Spokane suck for weeb and gamer culture?

I've noticed a trend from Spokane vs places like LA and Spokane. I've been living here my whole life and I noticed that there is a huge lack of events or promotions involving anime/gaming culture.

From my experience from living here the only thing we got really is collabs with restaurants (once or twice a year max) and Kuro Neko con or comic con. Nothing too special.

I'm huge into Vtuber culture and its really annoying to hear that anything I want to go to that's big for these cultures are either in Seattle or somewhere in California. Every time I visit comic con or Kuro Neko con it feels like the same thing almost every year just keeping up with the popular characters at the time in that year but the main thing that changes is select few venues.

I look for a lifestyle that revolves around going to these cons and events but the next best thing to enjoy these things is going to my local comic book shop or game store to enjoy these things without having to leave the city.
