Bought a faulty appliance with a credit card

I bought a appliance with my capital one credit card May 9th 2026 from Lowes. Install date May 15 2026. The installers show up, install the appliance. The appliance fails to operate. The installers tell me Lowes will contact me Monday to set up a new install date with a new appliance. May 18 comes and go. I call Lowes and set something up for a install on May 27 since they have a replacement. May 27 comes and goes and I call Lowes again because no installers came out to do the swap. June 1 i get set up with a install day for my appliance. Again. June 1st comes and go. Nothing. I call Lowes again. June 3rd will be my install date for the new appliance. June 3rd arrives i get a text stating the installers are canceling my install date. On June 3rd I call my capital one credit card and start a merchant dispute to have all charges reversed. 90 minutes later June 3rd after capital one starts their end of the merchant dispute Lowes calls and sets up a install date of June 5th. Again. No show on June 5th 2026. I kept all texts with install dates in May and June. I also kept emails stating from Lowes when they would install the new appliance. I also have the defective appliance still becuse the installers have to swap it out. I made videos of the error codes on the defective appliance to prove they never picked it up and swap it out.

My question, should I go with a different company to get my appliance? Should I wait the 90 day dispute capital one has in place.

The appliance is a dishwasher.
