I bought 2 adult Himalayan rabbit snails about 2 months ago online. They are less active than I thought they would be. But one or both have been popping out babies. Unsure which one. I knew they gave live birth, but stupidly I didnt take into consideration they'd have babies and may not work for the set up I have.

It started about a month after arrived. Now almost a month later since the first was born, I currently have 6 babies. They are tiny bit longer in length than a piece of rice and for the oldest being almost 1 month old, Im surprised at how tiny he is still.

So a few questions;

Would these be considered stress deliveries not starting for a month after getting them?

I understand if I have one male and one female, I will continue to have babies. But if by chance they are both females with no males around, how many does one typically pop out?

I have a 20 gal hexagon tank, so taller than it is long. I have 1 good size mystery girly and several bladder snails but not out of control at the moment. Then the 2 adult rabbits and 6 babies. The bioload is getting larger now. At what point should I take the babies out and move elsewhere? Currently dont have another set up, and cant afford to get another one right now, so will sell somewhere, idk where yet Ill figure it out soon. But how big should they be before getting rid of them?

Thanks for your help.

P.S... Strudel is terribly embarrassed I chose this video since it has a hunk of poo stuck on them. You will have to excuse him, he is new to this.

How many should I expect and other things?
