Been busy

Car issues, broken phone, all fixed now, so back to art naturally, short free time the past two weeks so been using the time I had to do small amounts of reading and lots of YouTube videos on the artworld. Destroy rebuild destroy on my instagram to rebuild it more professionally, my local artist are all professional standards so I need to make those expectations, to fly with the flock, I have no target audience yet, so I need to get out more.
so collection will be starting out in a red series, and we will work our way through the colors.
Learned more about communication and building relationships, but it felt like I was facing a time deadline when there wasn’t one so this forced break I guess was kinda nice. Get to step back into the art with a new head frame hopefully. I have some ideas.
Recently discovered a vending machine exhibition, which is perfect to hopefully try to get in and roll out these micros, doing them in a new way, will introduce into my local communities first before posting online, have a bunch made just need to get them in some kind of packing or case, thinking glue dots and some cardstock I’ll cut and paint I’ll show those later this week, will be a whole post. Rather it start here locally first then online. But who knows might not even be a hit, Time will tell. I’ve mapped and drew up the blueprints so they can follow a step by step guide to do it themselves.
Thanks to my partner I’ve only gotten into shows she’s recommended. She is a pillar in my art, I think I’d still be weed eating and digging up lines for sprinkler lines and flowerbeds thinking that was my main purpose to become a lead, I owe a lot to her.
We are gonna start branching more out online. Need to figure out how navigate everything. Another week of learning ahead of me.
Post an update since it’s been a minute, I’m like a recluse , I like to be alone and this keeping things on a constant flow because someone might care is a struggle. But like everything else we will stick it out.
Crazy I’ve been to jail like 5 times and met some really odd / dangerous ppl but grew friendships with them but here I am afraid to send a follow because r hello, to a fellow artist . Nerve racking.
I also get to do a tattoo here soon on one of my sisters partners friend, haven’t tattooed in a year so wish my luck on that, gonna run some practice exercises on that before so that’ll probably take up 2 days of no painting and making micros.
