Should I keep watching the anime or stop and read the mangas?

General Discussion

I'm currently rewatching Beastars, I last saw it when S2 aired. And honestly I don't even remember half the scenes, which is good because it makes everything more enjoyable like if I was watching it for the first time. But halfway through S2, specifically on episode 5, and I stopped and thought "Wait, shouldn't I have read the mangas first?" and it completely ruined the whole experience for me. I immediately stopped watching it, I just don't know what to do. I can stop watching the anime and start reading the mangas so when I finish the mangas I can continue watching it from the episode I left it on, but the problem with that is that I would be reading something I just watched (From S1 to S2) I could wait some time so my mind gets clear and the memories fade but waiting makes me anxious because I don't know how many months I should wait. I saw someone comment about how reading the manga first is better because you watch the scenes come to life, and while it's true I'm scared of not being excited while watching the anime because I will already know what will happen, especially with the finale. The second option is just watching the whole anime and then reading the mangas, but then what's the point in reading the mangas if I already know the whole story. It's different than The Promised Neverland, where you actually have to read the mangas if you wanna see what they cut out from the show. I may be over analyzing it, so I just want some advice from the people that have watched both, thank you!
