Is it really that bad??

Im currently at vol 7 of the novel part 2, i I've spent so much time reading this day and night but then i saw reviews and such bout the incoming chapters, talking bout that the next volumes will be ass and braindead, like dang is it really that bad I think its bout cassie like ion know but i think she betray him more or sum i alr hate her so i dont mind that. (Please no spoil or minimize)
