Anyone use the Ion Cool Blonde Purple Toning Hair Mask?

I’m naturally light brunette and I got blonde highlights about 8 weeks ago. I have a wedding this weekend and wanted to tone the yellow out of my highlights (they’re not super brassy). I got the ion cool blonde purple toning hair mask from sallys cuz it was a single packet for $3 - i didn’t want to commit to a whole bottle of shampoo cuz I heard purple shampoo can be drying and I really only wanted to be icier for the wedding. Has anyone used it to tone highlights? I really don’t want to dim the brightness or turn my highlights lavender so even tho the packet says to leave it on for 5 min I might try 1-2 minutes then rinse out
