I can't help but question my gender when I'm perfectly fine with being a girl.
My main suspicion is that I might be cisgender? I'm having a bit of a hard time understanding the term. I'd like to know if I'm mistaken, or if my experience aligns with it at some point.
First of all, I can't say I'm experiencing any gender dysmorphia. This is just something that crosses my mind every now and then before I brush it off after a few seconds. I'm comfortable with my body.
Second of all, I can't say I'm trans. Considering how again, I'm perfectly fine with being a girl. I don't see myself being the opposite gender.
Yet sometimes, I can't help but think things like,
"What if I were trans? But I like being a girl, though."
"Am I going to end up becoming a boy in the future? I don't think I want
that..."
I think these the reason these questions pop up in my head is because I tend to resonate more with masculine or gender-neutral characteristics. Clothing especially being one of them. I can still wear some feminine clothing, although my taste in it is highly limited.
I could just a tomboy, but even so I still question my identity sometimes.
