Mountain Photography Question?

I am making a trip to Glacier and the surrounding areas soon. I am currently shooting with a Sony A7cii and Tamron 35-150 2.8. My concern is, should I bring along a wider lens, either prime or smaller zoom? Also, a tripod, if so, any reccomendations ?
