Auvelity and tolerance

Been on diy auvelity at the suggestion of a medical professional for a few years now. Slowly moved up to 45mg of dxm twice a day with 100mg of bupropion.
Used to trip on dex years prior. Curious if that’s even a possibility for me. Not sure I’d want to but intrigued by the idea and thought I’d ask here. anyone that has personal experience with recreational use of dxm after long term medical use.
