Went from soprano to bass

Celebratory

My voice changes took a little longer to kick in compared to what I've seen others post. It was 8 months before I got my first drop, noticeable only in my singing range. It was about 13 months before it was noticeable speaking. Now I'm at 21 months and its still actively deepening.

I've dropped from a soprano to a bass range singing. I've had to completely change how I sing. My speaking voice was at around a 240 hz pre t. Now it's at 95. When people imitate my voice, they pitch down instead of up like they used to. I don't get consistently gendered right on the phone, but getting sir-ed is common enough it doesn't shock me like before.

I was really terrified throughout the drops that I'd never have a voice I was happy with. Voice has been one of the slower changes for me. But I'm finally starting to feel comfortable speaking. It's also just euphoric to say "I'm a bass" now.
