i have a rog strix g531gu that has an nvidia 1660ti laptop gpu, intel 9750h with 20 gigs of ram and 256 gigs of storage. currently using windows but its starting to feel really slow, and i have thoughts of switching to linux again (switched to mint and then fedora on my previous laptop).

im debating on whether or not i should fresh install linux or dualboot windows and linux. on one hand, i worry that ill lose the windows key if i do a fresh install, but on the other, 128 gigs each sounds horrible

the games i play i think work on linux with proton (not sure for limbus company but im confident that it doesnt use kernel level anticheat) with the exception of marvel rivals, which im unsure works on linux or not (though i play it very occasionally so its not that big of a deal if i cant anymore). whats more important is that i also draw using a huion kamvas 13, which with my previous experiences has really screwy linux driver support even on ubuntu (i used it on kde which was pretty cool but still would rather use base drivers)

any tips or help or suggestions would be really useful!!
