Done with first 4 doses of 2.5mg Mounjaro.

Experience

As the title say, I have successfully completed first 4 doses of Mounjaro and in 5/6 days I will be taking my first 5mg shot. So far I am very happy with the results. I lost like 7.2 KG in 3 weeks (lost 6kgs in 1.5 weeks and by the end of 3rd week lost 1kg only - was originally 136kgs) and right now in my 4th week.

I have few questions though. Usually I don't feel hungry, but yesterday (Saturday morning is when I take my Mounjaro shot) I felt hungry. Why is that? Kinda feel like I was eating more than usual (after taking Mounjaro) yesterday and day before yesterday night. No junk food though.

After my first shot and till now,

  1. My food noise is gone
  2. I haven't got my migraines yet. Usually I have migraine once a week. But so far none.
  3. I feel happy and excited

These are some of the things I noticed. and for the side effects right now I am feeling is constipation 😖. What can I do about this?

I have started going to gym to do strength training. Right now I am going 4 days a week... Trying to make it 6 days a week. Following a diet with protein.

I have lost appetite to drink coffee and then to consume liquor. Is this common? Ik about losing appetite to alcohol, never knew about coffee.

Another thing is, If any Indians reading this taking Mounjaro, does insurance company cover Mounjaro for obesity and not for Diabetes? I thought about doing click counting but then decided not to do that. Even my doctor suggested not to do click counting. If you are getting insured, please let me know on how to do that.

Also, If I can any advices on do's and don't and any other suggestions, would really appreciate it.

Overall, I am happy with my 1 month in Mounjaro. Hoping to see many more improvements and try to update to his subreddit! :)
