Need advice moving forward: Stuck at 122/123 CARS

📚 MCAT

Last year I got 122 for CARS, and I am re-writing at the end of June. I've done FL2, FL3 and FL4 and have still gotten 122/123 for CARS (all other sections are 127-129). I've tried a variety of strategies but I guess none seem to be helping. I think my issue is comprehension? I try to map, and summarize every paragraph as I go, however it seems that my understanding is not matching with AAMCs even though I thought that I understood the passage. Another issue is that even though I think I understood the passage, I am often never confident in my answers (which tells me I'm probably didn't understand anything).

For the AAMC CARS diagnostic, I scored 57% overall and I have not started the CARS qpack yet because I want to maybe fix my CARS approach before exhausting this resource with the wrong strategies? However, I really don't know how to fix my comprehension and I feel so defeated.

I have 3 more weeks till my MCAT. I know as a Canadian, CARS is unfortunately super important, bit I just know it's not realistic for me. My goal is a 125. Is CARS tutoring worth it, and where can I find one? What can I even do to improve? I actually feel so lost, and I feel like I've tried everything and have not seen improvement T_T.

Additional side question for Canadians, is this a sign to give up Canadian med? I feel like it's so unrealistic to just apply to ottawa and tmu....

Thanks everyone, sorry for this long post. It's my first one bc I actually feel like I'm at my ends :(
