I (20F) love my boyfriend (20M), but an astrologer's prediction about my future marriage is freaking me out

I (20F) have been with my boyfriend (20M) for about a year now, and this is genuinely the happiest and healthiest relationship I've ever been in.

In 2024, my mother invited an astrologer to our house. He made a lot of predictions about my future, and some of them were pretty upsetting. He said I would have a bad marriage, struggle financially, and generally painted a very negative picture of my future.

This year, my mother wanted to visit another astrologer again. The strange thing is that he repeated many of the same predictions. He told her something along the lines of, "No matter what she does, she will end up with a bad husband, so tell her to be very careful about the man she marries."

Ever since then, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it.

The relationship I'm in right now means everything to me. I love my boyfriend deeply, and my immediate thought when I heard that prediction was: What if they're not talking about him? What if we break up someday and I end up with the 'bad husband' they're predicting?

I know that probably sounds irrational, but it's genuinely where my mind goes.

I grew up in a dysfunctional family, so one of my biggest dreams has always been to have a happy, stable family of my own someday. Hearing someone confidently predict that my marriage will be unhappy felt like someone took that dream and crushed it.

The astrologer also said that I wouldn't really have a mother-in-law, implying that she might pass away before or after my marriage or become seriously ill and need care. That prediction has also been stuck in my head.

Part of me thinks this is complete nonsense and that nobody can predict the future. But another part of me keeps thinking, "What if he's right?"

I don't know how to stop obsessing over it. Has anyone else had an experience where a prediction from an astrologer, psychic, tarot reader, etc. got into your head and caused a lot of anxiety? How did you move past it?
