My first Modest Mouse show - VA Beach

I've been a fan of Modest Mouse since I was a teenager. Over the years, I've had periods of time where I would just listen through the albums on repeat. This music has brought me so much comfort through the hardest times of my life.

I've been making an effort over the past couple of years to see live music. Of course, when I saw them coming to my town, I had to get tickets.

Holy shit. What an experience. At points, I had literal tears welling up just hearing these songs in person. I loved the blend of older hits and new material. The crowd seemed receptive to the new material which I think is great for them. Isaac was very high energy and looked to be having a blast up there. I love to see it.

In short, I love this band and I'm so glad I was finally able to see them live. I certainly hope to see them again.
