I cannot stand my brother.

I have a 28 year old brother who got a border collie mix puppy last year and has refused to train him of any sorts, refuses to crate him, give him enrichment, etc. This dog is now a year old and is tearing things up, having accidents in the house and is an unruly dog. He told me hes going to take him back to the shelter soon.

This is the 2nd dog my brother has got in the past 2-3 years that he has had to give back to the shelter because he refuses to research dogs, refuses to train them, and cannot provide for them. Two years ago he got an aggressive, reactive, untrained bully breed (i assume American bully or a staffy mix). He gave her back to the shelter about a year after having her because he could not handle her.

Im happy he acknowledges he cannot handle these dogs and he is giving them back so they can hopefully find a good home but I cannot stand the fact he is getting dogs without being able to care for them properly. The only reasons he wants a dog is because hes lonely and he wanted a dog like mine (ive put a year into training my dog and im still currently training her. She has outlets for her energy and I am able to provide for her.)

TL;DR: My older brother has got 2 dogs in the past 2-3 years without being able to provide for them and train them then gets mad when they act like an untrained dog and gives them back to the shelter. He always blames the dog for his inability to care for them.
