Love first - everything else depends - how do I say it?

So, as I posted here, I tried reframing my profile as “casual” instead of LTR because I wanted to take the focus off the escalation part and I have limited availability - I have kids and I don’t need much, and I didn’t want everyone getting hung up on “not wanting to be dad.”

I went on one date under that profile and decided I didn’t like how it comes across - like I’m “just looking for sex” and don’t care about love. Also it leads to us talking about it too much even when I’m not even attracted to them on the date. It becomes a prominent part of the conversation.

Actually it’s the opposite of what they assume. The only thing I really care about is love… well and really good sex. Everything else is totally dependent on the person and situation: Live together? Be involved with my kids? Combine lives? Do mundane things together? Only do extraordinary things together?

It’s all maybe / maybe not. I mean it completely depends on the person. I don’t really need anything except someone who loves and understands me (and where I feel the same). I don’t really care if we live together, if he meets my kids, if we get married or combine our finances.

How should I say it so it feels good to someone else?
