Intracapsular tonsillectomy for stones

Hi guys,

Has anyone had this done for stones and it been a success? Intracapsular is more like a partial tonsillectomy where they try to remove most of the tonsil instead of all of it and the capsule remains. I wanted a full one just to be sure but my surgeon only wants to do intracapsular.

I’m just worried I go through the stress of this done and the problem remains with some new crypts forming after the surgery. Thanks a lot.
