12 Days Post-Op: Eye Already Looks Like It Did Before Surgery — Normal?
Located in New York. I'm currently 12 days post-op from eye muscle surgery. Before surgery, I had about 15–20% eye turn. The procedure was mostly for cosmetic reasons, with a small amount of double vision.
During the first few days after surgery, my eyes looked overcorrected, which I expected. But after taking pictures recently, it seems like my eye is starting to look similar to how it did before surgery.
After reading posts and researching online, I'm worried the surgery may not have given me the result I was hoping for. My concern is that if it's already drifting back, it will probably stay this way. At the same time, I'm only 12 days post-op, so maybe it's too early to tell.
Has anyone experienced something similar where their eye looked like it was reverting early on, but then continued to straighten out as healing progressed? I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences.
Any honest answers would be appreciated thanks
