Computer is not detecting device

Hey my device isn't being read by my computer what do I do I tried changing the cables as well and I'm going to try a third time later but can I just pop out the SD card and put crosspoint on that directly? It might be a Windows problem so I'm going to try on my Linux laptop later when I get the chance to I'm going out so I'm leaving the device at home so I don't damage it plus I didn't get the case just yet hasn't come in the mail so I kind of don't want to take it around
