compounded loss
I’ve been going to funerals ever since I could remember. I’ve had so much loss that going to several funerals per year has become a “normal” routine for me. I’m in my 20s and I’m always the youngest person in all of the grief groups I’ve attended. On top of these losses, I’ve also had so much trauma and hardship in my life. I just wonder if things will ever get better or easier. As if dealing with so many losses isn’t hard enough, I’ve had to endure so much outside of that and I just wonder how much a person can take. I don’t feel like anyone my age relates to a single thing, except maybe a loss of a grandparent or something but mine both raised me so to me, it is more like losing my parents and being an orphan
