Airbrush help

I’m painting blood angels right now, and for the red I do a coat of Baal red and then a coat of 1:1 Blood angels red and Lahmian Medium. Im trying to use this recipe with an airbrush now, and I’m assuming I can just use some airbrush thinner for Baal even if it’s a contrast paint. My question is should I still use lahmian medium in my mix if I’m already thinning the blood angels red?
