Sirius XM Weather vs FIS-B

Hi Yall,

I bought a new to me comanche, truly has all the bells and whistles from the previous owner. One thing I found odd was, while having a G500TXi, GTN 650 and 355, he opted to throw a GDL 52 onto the dash with an Aera 660 mounted to his yoke. The plane does not have Sirius XM capability in the main panel, but it does have that...not sure why. I was randomly looking for a GDL69 or 69A on ebay and found some operational ones for a few hundred bucks. Problem is wiring it up...seems decently invasive and also only want it for the weather.

I guess I am curious what people here think about XM weather vs FIS-B esp on the G500 that shows a pretty good amount of weather options. Would XM enhance it, better it, be worth the install, or are most pretty content with FIS-B these days. Thanks !
