Too much rizz? (Jk)

This is the 2nd time in two weeks this has happened. And I’m not sure how I feel about it.. As I do with all passengers, if I can sense they would like to have a conversation, I’ll gladly keep it going. Sometimes, I’ll have a female passenger (30M here) that really enjoys talking and I can begin to sense it turning slightly flirtatious. Nothing inappropriate, the rides always end with a kind have a nice night and a good resting and tip for keeping a smile on their face. However, twice now in the last two weeks it has had a slightly different ending. I could sense the passenger stalling getting out of the car, almost hoping to keep talking or something else they wanted to say.. either way, the ride ends similarly to the others. Where it differs though, the next morning I get an email from Uber support saying a rider has left an item in my car, and I would receive $20 for returning it. The email also says the rider provided their cell phone number (which gets listed in the email) for me to reach out directly. Both times I checked for an item, which there clearly was not, so I respond to uber support saying item not found. I did not/will not reach out to their cell. I feel this is crossing a line, and also they easily could have changed their mind the next morning wishing they didn’t submit that fake lost item message giving their cell.

Anyway. Curious if this happens to others? It feels so odd, especially since uber support actually thinks items are getting left in my car and I don’t ever “find” it.
