Did my past screw up my chances of getting in at any college?

Transfer

So my goal is to get accepted into UTSA, but I believe my past at an old university screwed my chances up. When I first graduated HS and went to SHSU, I screwed around and never went to class/did any work. It resulted in me leaving the university with a .94 GPA. After not being in school for 1-2 years I decided I wanted to go back and get an education at my community college. After this summer class I should have a GPA around a 3.5(I did retake serval classes). I'm heavily interested in the BS in cybersecurity degree at this University with the requirements for it only being basic admissions, needing 30 or more credits and a minimum of a 2.25 GPA. I'm not entirely sure how colleges calculate both GPA's together, but I do know that UTSA uses all attempts of your classes not just your replaced ones. Also do colleges look at just the credits earned or all in general? I just need to know do I need to stay at community college for a little longer?
