Haggis and the World Cup

I keep seeing articles about how Scots coming to America for the WC will not be able to get "real" haggis etc. due to FDA rules etc. here. These articles are from the BBC and the main stream sources.

My personal opinion is these are somewhat offensive and stereotypical as if every Scot is addicted to haggis and will want to eat haggis every where they go.

Having lived in Scotland and visited many times I know plenty of Scots who have never had or rarely eat haggis. Me personally I love it but I also wouldn't expect to have it anywhere outside of Scotland (nor would I want to).

I would imagine any Scot coming to America for the game would way to try typical "American" food like BBQ or Tex-mex etc.. and not be pining for the great chieftain of the pudding race.

Thoughts?
