Here's a question about some of the communication in Book 8 that's been bugging me

I'll be the first to admit that this isn't terribly important, and probably doesn't even affect the story, but it's been annoying me since I finished Book 8.

Here's the question - after the emergency actions during Faction Wars, how can the crawlers still see outside message board posts to learn that Linus is actually his brother Minus (best name in the book IMO)?

I wasn't sure I remembered the wording accurately, so I went back to Book 7 and found the specifics of shutting down communication outside of the dungeon.

First, here's Ferdinand's original EA to end to communication:

"'Sir Ferdinand of Team Retribution has proposed an emergency action item. 'Because them alien cunts on other floors are being little bitches and cheating, we propose that nobody in the dungeon, including those pricks partying it up in that centipede’s asshole, be allowed to watch any outside feeds for the remainder of this little game.' This action item has been approved. Effective immediately, everyone within the dungeon is subjected to an immediate, live-feed blackout."

And here's Carl's addendum to close the loophole of re-titling the names of the feeds:

I sighed. “I propose a new Emergency Action Item. Any communication loophole designed to get around Team Retribution’s previously enacted Emergency Action Item get immediately closed because these assholes are still using it to communicate.”

And Cascadia's clarification:

“'Don’t forget to check the daily food menus,' Cascadia said. She had her head on the table now and didn’t look up. And then she added in a sing-song voice, 'And the daily activity schedule for the Scolopendra Club. Plus the personal trainer locker feeds with the customized training board. Oh, oh, even the massage NPCs are trained to learn the daily gossip. Anything that is programmed from orbit can be used to transfer information to those in the dungeon.'"

But in Book 8, it's pretty clear both Elle and Donut can still see posts from their fan groups:

"... those degenerates in Elle's Snow Cones ... knew an impostor the moment he stepped into the dungeon."

“'The real Linus, before this floor started,' Elle continued, 'posted an essay on a private server he shared with some close friends. Those same friends just posted it on the Princess Posse server. I’m guessing you haven’t seen it. But this is a quote from it.'"

"Donut gasped. 'So you are the brother! That was the big theory, but nobody knew for sure. Some people thought you were actually a Valtay agent, but WriggleInDew2023, who is the vice president of the team Mongo Mommies Valtay chapter and a street team member of the Snow Cones, said there was no way. She’ll be very happy to learn she was correct.'"

To be clear, this isn't a knock on the DCC series or Matt or anything like that. I've really enjoyed the series, and I'm a big fan. I'm just curious if anyone has an in-universe explanation for how this works.
