Hometown Triplet Thiefs and Sunflower seeds dealers
Hi Smosh, here are my hometown stories from the Netherlands.
In my neighborhood, we had a family who were known to do a lot of common offenses. Petty theft, disorderly conduct, vandalism, drugs, etc. This family had both twins and triplets who were teenagers at the time. Every month there was a new story involving these kids. The weird thing is, I never saw them. Not a single time that I lived there, about 12 years, did I ever see them or talk to someone who did. I'm starting to think it was just a story the whole neighborhood kept up to keep us out of trouble. Why make up the triplets and twins though?
My second story is about my elementary school. When we were in the 6th grade (Is that about 10 years old?) our local gas station started selling sunflower seeds. The ones that were roasted and drowned in salt. My entire class became obsessed with them but not everybody was allowed to go to the gas station by themselves. We had two guys who would use their pocket money to buy a dozen of those packets and sell them to us after school hours at the beginning of my street. Every other day there was nearly an entire class just sitting about eating a ton of sunflower seeds. It was really fun.
