How to cook multiple steaks

So I’m gonna be cooking like 6 steaks tmr. 4 medium and 2 well done. What is the best way to do this. Can I pan sear 2 at a time, baste them together. Then take out the butter and thyme and garlic then basically “redo” everything by setting the heat back to high and continue? Thank you
