The perfect Backrooms game idea
Imagine a game about backrooms. I'm sharing my ideas for what I believe would be the perfect game that truly illustrates liminal spaces. I've played all the existing games on Steam that deal with liminal spaces, backrooms, pool rooms, etc. So here's my idea, what I'd like to see in a complete game.
First, it would need beautiful, realistic graphics, in the same style as "POOLS." There should also be several settings to change the view: VHS, Normal, etc.
As for the environment and the map, it would mainly be the original backrooms; level 0, but with "biomes" or zones rather than levels or elevators per se! It would need to be procedurally and randomly generated so that each game is different! A bit like Minecraft. So it would be a complex in the style of Kane Parsons, but huge, with different "zones." So, while playing, you could stumble upon a massive pool room biome, another in the style of the Eternal Suburbia level, or even another resembling a giant children's playground, and so on.
The goal of the game would be to collect resources, explore, and survive! We could also integrate options to activate or deactivate entities. Obviously, there would need to be quests and things to accomplish to make the game more interesting.
The sounds would be unsettling, the atmosphere too, and sometimes with a little music.
In short, this would be a perfect game for Backrooms, and it would be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
I just sadly dont have the talent to do it..
