Now. I want to be crystal clear people. Yes Leclerc was unlucky in several ways, especially in 2022 during those crashes, poor radio calls by Ferrari, and a lot more events. And it's not like the team didn't have scandalous years like 2020 where they had hugely slower cars due to the events in 2019.

However. I want this to be slowly spoken of. Regardless of the other factors, Leclerc simply hasn't been really brining any results. And I'm quite disappointed by this. His last win was only in 2024, and since then he hasn't done much aside from scoring some podiums after that.

I like the fact how fans last year were always saying that he was doing better than the 7 Time Champion Lewis Hamilton, but now he's doing worse than him, and in fact, Hamilton is currently second in the standings. I wonder what's going to happen this year, especially considering that Kimi Antonelli is dominating.

Anyway. Aside from the fact that he only had 8 wins since the start of his career, which all occurred at Ferrari, he also didn't have a serious title fight as well. Especially in 2022. He came second. But there was a huge gap between him and Verstappen. And Leclerc not only had 3 race wins, but usually ended up wasting his pole positions. He also made terrible mistakes like in France that year, which I don't think anyone can forget that easily. İt was like as if he had a Vettel 2018 Germany Moment.

Speaking of Vettel. Vettel was just put away by the team after having 2 years of title fights against Mercedes, but Leclerc seems to be loved by the team and the fans despite only having one Second place in a championship at Ferrari. I kind of see this unfair.

Even his 2 wins in 2019, which I do see as to be the factor where his "glorious myth" came from, were seemingly not real. As they all occurred due to a "not-so-legal" engine by Ferrari.

He was also outpaced by Sainz in 2021, but he mainly pulled better results than Sainz due to team priority in the coming years.

İs Leclerc Overrated? Does he still deserve to be at Ferrari?

A Genuine Question. Does Charles Leclerc even deserve to stay at Ferrari after being at the team for 7 Years, and haven't been able to won any titles yet?
